Polly Schmidt
Space Management Analyst
Polly began her career in the Army and retired after 20 years of service as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Specialist, during which time she managed housing and facilities of Soldiers. She received an Associate of Arts in Education from Troy University, a Bachelor of Arts in Business from American Military University, and a Master of Science in HR and Organization Development from University of Louisville.
Her responsibilities as the Space Management Analyst include developing space utilization strategies, conducting space analysis and monitoring usage, developing and maintaining the university space inventory data base, assisting the Provost’s Office with determining university space needs, providing space data to the university accounting and research programs, and maintaining the university storage facilities.
