Facilities Management

Both the Department of Facilities Planning and Facilities Management Department (FMD) are associated with maintaining and enhancing the buildings on campus. This results in an interrelationship and a need for coordination between these two departments. Generally, Facilities Management maintains campus facilities, and Facilities Planning renovates existing structures, constructs new facilities and engages in broad-based campus master planning. However, there are instances when Facilities Management performs work on renovations or Facilities Planning may become involved in a maintenance issue such as replacing boilers in a building.

Both departments are strongly committed to providing customers with excellent service and opportunities for input on projects. We collaborate regularly with the hope of providing seamless service.
