Lorre Barrett, NCIDQ
Interior Designer
Lorre is an N.C.I.D.Q certified Interior Designer with over 28 years of experience. She attended the University of Mississippi to study finance but later transferred to follow her passion of art and interior design at Delta State University, where she received her BFA in Interior Design. Before joining the Facilities Planning staff, Lorre’s professional experience included working with several high-profile architectural firms in Jackson, Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee.
As the University of Mississippi’s Interior Designer, Lorre helps to advise the Interior Design team to advance the University’s mission by coordinating academic and administrative needs with physical space. She is the primary adviser for all new and renovated interior environments on campus and consults with faculty, design professionals and vendors to create aesthetic and functional spaces.
