Brad Potts
Special Projects Coordinator
After high school, Brad spent eight years in the Mississippi Army National Guard as a tanker. During the last two years of his service, he attended Northeast Mississippi Community College, where he received an associate’s degree in computer-aided design and drafting. Before coming to the university, he designed extrusion tooling and programmed machinery using AutoCAD systems in the private sector. He gained architectural drafting experience while working at a local architectural firm.
Brad’s responsibilities at the university include producing documents for in-house projects, small-project management, serving as the “librarian” of Ole Miss technical drawings and assisting with departmental projects as required. He also manages print and electronic architectural drawings, assists in pricing in-house projects, and conducts on-site construction reviews.
